Hi cpnet,

In order to get the version number of a specific SKGL library, please use the following code:
string version = typeof(SKGL.Generate).Assembly.GetName().Version.ToString();
or
Dim version As String = GetType(SKGL.Generate).Assembly.GetName().Version.ToString
If you would like to check what might differ in a specific version compared to another (and how it affects key generation/validation), please go to http://skgl.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Algorithm%20versions

Thanks for contacting me!

Sincerely,
Artem

Hi artemlos,

Thanks for the response. I was actually asking about validating the license for the version of the deployed product. Example, if I deploy my product V1.0, then license should not allow V2.0. But I guess entering that kind of metadata is not currently supported in SKGL. So, I'm currently using a web service to do that.
However, thanks for the wonderful utility. It fits our current needs.
